Comics are art, art is for everyone!

That belief is the primary motivator behind Dr. Cain’s Comics. We love comics and want to help make them accessible and available to everyone. We firmly believe that there is a comic out there for every person and we’d love to help you find yours.

In Fall of 2010 original owner Reid Cain opened the doors to a tiny but carefully curated shop serving up comic delights to the Central Coast of California. With a strong focus on quality comics both mainstream and off the beaten path Dr. Cain’s has helped thousands of customers discover (and re-discover) a passion for the illustrated sequential stories we love so much. The shop changed in 2019 and is now run by longtime employees who have continued the mission ever since.
