Oct Recs Part I

Every October we get requests for more spooky/horror comics in the month of October. Weird, right? So we will be throwing out a few recs for the rest of the month to satisfy the need for the creepy.

30 Days of Night qualifies as a classic at this point. The big concept behind the book, “Vampires hang out in Alaska because the sun doesn’t!” would be enough to hang a story on but Niles and Templesmith go the extra mile and infuse the book with characters fighting inner battles as much as they fight vampires. Heckuva good read.
